Beenleigh Multi Sports Beenleigh Touch & Beenleigh Tag After playing touch football in Beenleigh for six or seven years at Hammel Street Beenleigh Touch moved in 1985 to Beenleigh Multi Sports have enjoyed a wonderful association with hundreds of players over the years and we certainly welcome new teams and players all the time. If you are looking for a well established club with numerous playing fields and a large undercover all weather viewing area then please come down and join a team. Beenleigh Touch is a family oriented club. All in all with well over 100 teams playing each week the future looks promising at Bill Norris Oval for the Beenleigh Multi Sports Assoc. Inc. The Lizards, one of the inaugural teams still play at Bill Norris Oval and their children also play as The Goannas. We hope many more players will enjoy the family atmosphere and play this wonderful sport During the season many activities are staged at Bill Norris Oval including Inter school touch". 28 Teams playing starting April 24th for 8 weeks and Catholic schools Rugby League 15 to 17 year olds and opens next semester. This is sponsored by St Georges/Illawarra (Dragons) The committee have arranged for the Australian Boomerang Club to hold their annual event on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2008 On the Queens Birthday weekend (Sunday 8th June 2008) touch have a Gisberne Day (Kiwi Day) at Bill Norris Oval where there will be live bands, artists and arts and crafts, stalls all day long. Great food and drinks on sale. Season starts April 14th 2008 mixed competition and April 16th 2008 Mens Beenleigh Multi Sports has plenty of all weather seating so come rain hail or shine everyone is happy.
